Jennifer Perna started Fulton Market Consulting in May, 2017 after developing an event experience and sales management portfolio for over 25 years in the Chicago catering and special events industry. Jennifer coaches various hospitality-related owners, managers and leaders on growing their sales revenue while also increasing bottom line profitability. Besides providing new ideas on leadership, management, business development and sales strategies, Jennifer also shares valuable insight on culinary, operations, finance, human resources and general management practices. In March 2021, Jennifer co-authored and published her first book as a volume in a series called Catering Chronicles. Each book focuses on various topics related to the hospitality industry. Jennifer is a passionate and involved member of the International Caterers Association (ICA), recently concluding eight years on the Executive Board including position of President and President Council Chair. She also holds a board seat on the Catersource Advisory Council. She is a member of the Cornell Hotel Society National and Chicago chapters and a proud graduate of the Cornell School of Hotel Administration, where she happily returns to Ithaca, NY each year to teach a class on Catering and Special Events. When Jennifer is not working, you can find her on a beach anywhere in the world.
