Originally from Providence, Rhode Island, Deanna moved to Atlanta in 2004. After receiving her culinary degree from The Art Institute of Atlanta, she began working with Bold Catering on events in 2011. Deanna has worked at Bold in various savory roles including event chef and tasting line chef before making a career change to the sweet side of things in 2017. Following years working under two different pastry chefs at Bold, Deanna got her opportunity to shine in spring 2020. Without a Pastry Chef Bold leaned on Deanna, then the Pastry Sous, to lead the team over the next 15 months. In May 2021 Deanna was promoted to Executive Pastry Chef. Her dedication, creativity and commitment to her craft are unmatched. In her free time, Deanna can be found hiking Stone Mountain with her three children and exploring new tastes.
