Sarah Hall is the President of Joel Catering, an experience-driven, gourmet catering company in New Orleans, and Il Mercato, the leading event venue in the city’s Lower Garden District. Sarah’s savvy, creativity and innovative strategies keep Joel Catering and Il Mercato the premier vendor and venue in the wedding and special events space in the Gulf South.
Sarah has facilitated hundreds of ultra-luxury weddings, special events, and activations over the past 18 years of her career. Her portfolio includes celebrity clientele, Fortune 500 families, and renowned event planners, with weddings that have been featured in VOGUE, Martha Stewart Weddings, BRIDES and more.
Simultaneously, Sarah’s expertise allowed her to lead the redevelopment of a dilapidated property in New Orleans’ Lower Garden District into the city’s top special events venue, Il Mercato, where Joel Catering is the food and beverage partner.
Currently, Sarah is spearheading the renovation and restoration of a second historic property in New Orleans. The refreshed venue will join the Joel Catering portfolio and is expected to be complete in 2024.
