Please join us as we bring you some of Orlando’s most influential changemakers in sustainable events. During this informative panel discussion, we will focus on moving beyond the checklists and traditional linear approach of sustainability and shift to a more targeted approach of circularity and utilizing hyper-local resources.
We will address some of the barriers we face in circularity and offer solutions on how to navigate roadblocks and apply working principles to your own local events. Our panelists will discuss current practices that are being utilized locally at the OCCC and inspiration to replicate best practices at home. In events, our ultimate goal is to leave as little as possible behind through creative and mindful planning.
From analyzing materials and office supplies, production needs, staffing, food & beverage, and more, we will discover ways to work with local experts to maximize our impact and reduce our footprint. The aim of this session is to help make climate positive events more common and accessible for event professionals, while discovering the many benefits and opportunities of sourcing locally and using our resources with maximum efficiency.
